By confirming a booking with Economical Movers, you agree to provide accurate information regarding your move, including addresses, access conditions, and inventory details.
We will provide services as described in your booking confirmation and/or quote.
All prices are quoted upfront and include GST unless stated otherwise.
Full payment is required upon completion of the move unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Additional charges may apply for services not included in the original quote (e.g., extra items, waiting times, stairs not disclosed prior to booking).
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled move.
Moves canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.
Rescheduling is subject to availability and should be requested as early as possible.
Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access at both pick-up and delivery locations.
Items should be packed securely unless you have booked our packing services.
Economical Movers is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or circumstances outside our control.
We handle your belongings with care. However, standard service is provided under limited liability, meaning compensation is limited in case of accidental damage.
Comprehensive insurance can be arranged upon request before the move.
We are not liable for pre-existing damage, poorly packed items (if packed by the customer), or damage to furniture requiring disassembly/assembly unless arranged as part of our services.
We do not transport hazardous, illegal, perishable, or flammable goods.
Any prohibited items loaded without our knowledge are transported at your own risk.
If storage is arranged, items must be fully inventoried and insured if required.
Storage fees are payable in advance or as agreed in writing.
Economical Movers reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and take effect immediately.
